Many of gameLAB's activities center around exploration of novel gaming technologies and experimentation of their creative uses in game development. Being a research and development facility, the mission of gameLAB is to pursue high-quality R&D, education and training through active collaboration with its academia counterparts and the industry. Since its establishment in 2004, the gameLAB has been involved in several game projects in the areas of education, healthcare and military training. The gameLAB is formed by a community of developers, students, researchers, academics and artists who share a common interest in building great games. Through collaboration with its partners and sponsors, the gameLAB endeavors to be a premium center that offers not only high-quality R&D into game technologies, but also a breeding ground for realization of exciting ideas on gaming and its applications. |
