NTU offers Master of Engineering programme with special focus on Game Development

NTU and Hong Kong-based game company, TQ Global Ltd, are collaborating to offer a Master of Engineering degree with a special focus on Game Development. The programme will train and develop talents to support Singapore's efforts in the interactive and digital media industry. Students in this two-year programme will undertake commercial projects and thus benefit from immersions in both industry and academia. The programme is offered by NTU's School of Computer Engineering.

Professor Tomoyuki Nishita, University of Tokyo, visits gameLAB

gameLAB hosted Prof. Nishita from the Department of Complexity Science and Engineering at the University of Tokyo. Prof. Nishita received the Research Award on Computer Graphics from Information Processing Society of Japan in 1987, and the Steven Anson Coons award from ACM SIGGRAPH in 2005 for his pioneering works in computer graphics, such as rendering taking into account light inter-reflection (radiosity) and rendering of natural phenomena.
